I can grab a few Zastam70 mauser actions for a very reasonable price.I think boyds makes a laminate stock for these.Would this action handle the 470AR or 500AR, or would a ruger mk11 be better for the conversion?

Mine in .416 AR and .458 AR are on Mk II actions which I think must be the way to go. Frank

certainly, for a 470 .. going to be feeding work, in any event.... the 470 is my fav of the 40s ... no one has a .475 at the range... then the 500 is just COOL! it does exactly what the 500 jeffe did, only smaller still! pick your poison! though the 470 on a ruger is fast and easy .. you can just send a ruger to mcgowen and they'll do all the metal work for you opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Words aren't Murder - Political assassination is MURDER Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round?
