boom stickCZ is now in the ammo biz?! 500 Jeffery!
http://www.cz-usa.com/data/downloads/common/Safari%20Classics%20Catalog.pdfNot only are they now doing the 500 Jeffery and 300 H&H...
the catalog says they are having their own headstamped ammo!!!!!!!
404 Jeffery
500 Jeffery
450 Rigby
300 H&H
505 Gibbs
also the 500 and 505 will have mercury recoil reducers

WarriorThat would blow some new life into the 300 H&H and non reloaders can bring their rifles out of their safes again for those that cannot get Federal ammo.
It used to be a problem here in SA when we had the arms embargo of the USA against us. Reloading was the only option for us.

RIPWell who is making it now, this CZ headstamped ammo?
Still A-Square?
The first batch of .505 Gibbs ammo with the CZ headstamp was made for them by A-Square and it would not chamber in the rifle CZ made ... and it cost about 12 to 15 dollars per cartridge, IIRC.
I returned all of mine to my local dealer, and he sent his entire stock back to CZ.
Last I heard A-Square made another batch and they are trying to do better now ... except same ridiculous pricing.

MacifejI think Midway is still trying to unload that A-Square Brass for about $10.00 per stick.

They have some Bertram "stuff" as well for the nearly ridiculous price of $4.00 per stick.
I think Norma Weatherby 460 Brass (some of the best brass anywhere) is about $2.50 per stick.
Hell I can buy 20mm M103 Brass for about $2.00 each!

boom stickwell with cz doing a 500 jeffery I am sure prices will go down with more ammo sales in volume.
The question is how much will the cz be,how does it feed and how long is the magazine/action

MacifejThe real question is the quality. Seems that the old stuff was No Bueno!
