Hog KillerJim, I thought it was a great day, today. Good fellowship, good food, and good DWJ shooting.
It was really nice to see everyone how could make it to the shoot.

HizzieWhat, no pics? Wish I could have been there. Our "Extrication Day" was rather disappointing and I really would have been shooting instead of dealing with fake patients.

KarlSpeaking of rupturing objects, Jeffe and RGB did you ever still have the pic of the deer shot with the 585?
Karl.

lee440Thanks again to Keith for a great time! Andy, you wuz a Bubba all along and did not know it! Welcome!!
We had a good learning experience, coconuts are OK, but they are not nearly as violent as the watermelons!! There is no experience as exciting as nailing a charging melon and splattering it all over the landscape! Now, maybe if we use a little Tannerite with the coconuts next time.....Hmnn.

drewhenrytntThank you Keith, I am humbled.
I am at a loss for words.
Does this mean I can now order a shirt and ballcap with the "Bubba" logo on it?
Gotta make a new "smiley"....a Sasquatch doing backflips!
If I can get Michael and Dan to develop a 600 Carnivore then we can really rupture something!

Hog KillerWell. I must tell the "Band of Bubbas" that the DWJ stands have pasted on to the great shooting range in the sky.

Their group "Viking" funeral is now concluded.

Hopefully the next generation of stands will be here before long.

Have you killed a DWJ with the cannon yet?
Time for a bubba works project. Bust out the tig welder, rebar and 4" steel square plates.

boom stickPS
Keith, have you tried using the coke cans as sabots in the cannon?
Take off te top and fill it with pea size rock or chain or buck shot.

Yes, on commited suicide and jumped in front of the shot. Time for a bubba works project. Bust out the tig welder,
Stick welding is better for this.rebar and 4" steel square plates.
Boomie, do you have ANY IDEA how much they would weigh? They would exceed the weight limit for most of the Bubbas

I do use them in the mortar, fill them with concrete, if you can find them you can shoot them again.

Whompers are guns that WILL kick the cr#p out of you.
eg: any of the .550s, very hotly loaded .505, and up. you should have shot many of these. I would think that youare gettin close to full membership, with your 600 OK, amd shooting the 4 bore. etc.
Being a full memberber of the "Whopper Club" probably shows a lackl of good judgment. When you say. "I can/can I, shoot that"
