It's a 375 "MIZ", actually just a 375 WSM.
Remington action (chosen for lighter weight) and trigger w/ larger bolt knob
16" Bartleign barrel plus a brake, fluted obviously
Manners Superlight carbon fiber stock
Badger M5 DBM

Black and corvette yellow paint job, school colors of course

Leupold vx3 1-4, has heavier tactical rings and base, assuming Badger but not 100&

Weighs a little bit under 8lbs as it sits, with lightweight integrated rings and bases it would probably be about 7 lbs.

Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too!

Recent college grad, started a company called MK Machining where I'm developing a bullpup rifle chassis system.

Nice design, let me know how it feeds.

I was thinking about doing a 450 Marlin on a M700 like that.

What magazine are you using, are those Accuracy International ACIS magazines?

I haven't shot it yet, I need to get custom dies made still.

I braked it for ease of shooting accurately, I plan on removing it when hunting.

It feels really good when holding it, everything is extremely solid. I am using AICS magazines in a Badger M5 DBM.

Tyler very nice !! I shoot a .375 wsm as well, I'm shooting the 225 gr Hornady spire point for feral pigs I'm running varget behind this pill and getting around 2900 fps. It's accurate and with the 260 gr nos ab it has same trajectory as a .308 running a 168gr A Max all in a short action and able to use ai mags.

I had a 9.3 Lazzeroni Hellcat that was the short Patriot case necked up to .375-cal and I didn't have any trouble duplicating .375 H&H velocities.

Let me suggest a Vais break - very effective and very little increase in noise and no gas blasted back into your face or front lens of the scope.

I really like it.Would love it for a walk around
woods rifle here in PA.
The colors are interesting, although I would lean
more to black,brown & greens.
How about some pics of the rounds and loads info your using.

PC, any chance you could send me some load data? How did you make your brass?

I'll post up results and stuff when I get the dies and brass!

Really cool looking rig! Anxious to hear how it performs and what kind of speed you get from the short barrel.

Tyler my barrel is 20" I amusing 68gr of Varget behind the 225 gr Hornady with Fedral 215m primer. My Chrono avergage is 2803 fps but my Chrono on average seems to read about 70-100 fps slow from what tests with exbal have shown me when working with long range rifles. I have not had a chance to stuff around with the 260gr Nos AB...............if that pill was cheaper I'd use it exclusively in this rifle but its too expensive for popping feral pigs. The Hornady works well and is actually one of the stouter Hornady .375 pills I have used, seems tougher than the 300 gr Hornady ound Nose.

Ty and PC:

This is a very interesting cartridge. I had been giving some consideration to building a 9,3 on a Ruger Compact Magnum case but since the WSM case has about 10 grains greater water capacity, it might be a better choice.

PC, have you tried shooting any 270 or 300 grain bullets? If so, I would love to know what velocity you are getting.

Not as yet but my mate has one too and he is loading 270's I think. I'll try and find out.
