[URL=]offhand shooting technique demonstration I forgot to mention how important it is for me to keep the left arm always up against my chest. Here is a another video of the method.Notice how the rifle is raised high, with the right arm always up against my chest and the left hand using the trigger guard as leverage to push the rifle and hold it against my shoulder.Placing my left arm this way prevents the barrel from dropping while the shot is executed and causing low shots on the target. Guns and alcohol don't mix. What does shootaway do? He hijacks a beer truck to make his latest shooting video. Confused

Be it far from me to judge, but I have to ask, Shootaway can I ask why is it we keep watching you shoot the Lott and getting instruction videos from you.

Are you an ex olympic shooter, a long time african hunter, a military instructor or range officer

Sorry not trying to be disrespectful I dont know you well enough, but I do want to make sure when I click onto your threads that I'm not just watching another everyday gun nutbag who likes to show off his 458 Lott and doesnt have the credetials to give instructional videos

Just a simple answer will be fine I'm not chacing your resume

No wonder the Government took their guns away.

Just kidding, I'm sure this is not representative of most Canadian hunters.

Although it is true that I like to have a laugh with people,my shooting threads are aimed at the serious shooter. It is what I learned from shooting.I have nothing against and welcome anyone who can show me how to do it better or give me any tips on how to improve. However,I feel alone in this department especially since very few prefer to shoot offhand with iron sights.

Oscar, in our Country, respect is something you earn. It is not something one deserves. Maybe what you meant is he deserves some common courtesy.

Outstanding!

What a pleasant surprise it is to find a video that lives completely up to the expectations I had for it.

Then I watched the second demo, and thought "Wow! How often does that happen? The sequel is actually as good as the first!"

I can hardly wait for the DVD boxed set.

Oh man! I totally missed the second video. My wife just came in the room asking if I was laughing or crying? I showed her both videos. She was literally rolling on the floor laughing so hard she couldn't speak!

Thanks for the laugh, Shootoverthataway!

Shootaway, your offhand position is a very poor one. I suggest that you sign up for the Small Arms Firing School held at Camp Perry, Ohio, every August. They will teach you proper offhand technique. You are an NRA member, aren't you?

www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SOnWtYvMkA&feature=related watch at time= 2.33 If that doesn't upload then enter SAFS 2011 Camp Perry. The guy in the video is basically demonstrating the same thing. It is not that I copied it but came up with it myself and found out that competitive shooters use it too.Notice how high the butt rests on his shoulder.
