One of Us Wow, I thought the first picture had a 22LR cartridge in it for comparison but it looks like it's really a 45! How do they shoot? Matthew
One of Us Damn I love those.
Those guns should be on the discovery channel.
I've been thinking how cool a pair of 12 gauge muzzle loader pistols would be or falling block pistols of you wanted to get fast and practical.

Now I want to know what a "butter microwave" is that I'm seeing in the backround of photo #2...

One of Us The small round is a 10mm round with a 175 grain silver tip hollow point bullet. The pistol is designed to te shot with 100 grains of black powder. The rifle will hold 700 grains of black powder, but the gun is loaded with 500 grains of black powder in my cartridges and that is the load the rifle is regulated for.. The balls weigh a hair under 3500 grains which is a 1/2 pound of lead. It gets 1300 ft/sec.
