Is Ruger making a .338 Lapua rifle?
If so, should be the perfect platform for HA!/DOA full length Lapua Cats.

Oh well! Never mind! Just another RSM with no recoil lug on the action, only a recoil plate hooked over a little nub-like bolster around the front action screw. Screwed again!

When they make one with a recoil lug on the action I will be in the market. They don't need any quarter rib on the barrel. Just a recoil lug on the action, that is all I ask.

is there a way to beef it up without too much trouble?

We already have one of those at HA!/DOA as a shop mule for interchangeable barrels. No worries about splitting that extruded aluminum stock.
