Hopefully perfect for GSC, B-Max, and cast bullets custom made to fit this throat, and perfect for Norma 9.3x74R brass as is, and hopefully the Hornady neck is no thicker. We will want to measure some Hornady dummies when possible, a dummy Hornady 9.3x74R with a .395 Bullet seated.

If a larger throat or a longer case is desired: neck and throat reamer as big and deep as you want, and be happy.

I am happy with this reamer drawing. You can always go bigger but you can't put those steel chips back in the barrel.

You have hit upon the ideal. We can use it as is with the Norma brass, or later on ream it out to 3, 3.25, 3.5, or whatever. Makes absolute sense to me. Ignore my comments on the other topic.

Dave Davison of CH4D ought to be able to make good dies from this drawing. If we make it any longer or wider it will be a crap shoot getting available brass from the 9.3x74 to work here. Just being practical here, and you set me straight by scoffing at the sloppier throat with 3" brass that I first presented.

Yes this has the best chance of working with the most brass and bullets.

you have about thirty of each design enroute, along with enough 416 gas checks. There are a few other ones enclosed as well, just to give you some shapes to consider. The glass came today, it looks pretty good full of Corralejo (blue bottle)... it looks even better with the second glass full. This working together and helping friends (new and old) out is right cool!!
