What bullet would you use in a 14" barreled 375 jdj?I thought of the Hornady 270 gr sp and the Nosler 260 gr accubond and the 300 gr fmj bullet. There is a shortage of 375 bullets these days and I cant find any to work in the 375 jdj or my 375 win model 94.Anyboby got any extra 375 bullets?

JD Jones would probably recommend that very 270gr. Hornady. You don't need a 300gr FMJ for bison. I killed mine with a T/C Contender (14") in .30-30 and 130gr. Hornady SSPs (although it was a head shot). As for having bullets, let me check my supplies. I know I have lots of .375/300grs., but I don't remember what I have in 270gr. George ![]()

The 270gr Hornady should suffice. George, how big a bison did you shoot, and into what part of it's head. I only ask because I have seen 180gr Corelokts explode on bison heads before. Also have seen 444 Marlin bullets "bounce" off.

Mine really likes the Hornady 270 interlocks, it's favorite load so far has been 48.5 grs of IMR 4064: ![]() I'd poke a bison with one of those. Si tantum EGO eram dimidium ut bonus ut EGO memor
