Folks,

If you have been thinking about building that special big bore (585 Nyati, 510 Gibbs, etc.) rifle, then you need to order this PH action. With a .800" diameter bolt, the possibility of building a really big bore is endless. Thanks.

Does the large PH action come ready and setup for 375 H&H. I know the standard long action is sufficient for the 375 but the PH action would allow matching the 375 to a bigger big bore.

The PH will come in different configurations depending upon your needs. It will be available in either Chrome Moly or Stainless Steel, Right or Left Hand and in either standard Magnum or Rigby bolt faces. The magazine box will be 4.00" long to handle most cartridges. The bolt diameter will be .805".

Jeffeosso,
It shows that there were 25 Right Hand and 6 Left Hand orders? This was done at a time when the company thought it was ok to do special serial numbers and those were the numbers people picked. It doesn't say that the largest number, which I think is 620, means there were 620 orders.

What's bad is that I was a member of the Charter order for the 1999 model of short actions (Ser. No. 5). When the PH offer was started I tried to order a left handed one and we were told that since we couldn't get 100 orders for lefties that no left handed actions would be made.

This is the first that I've heard that lefty PH actions were available.
