Same thing. I think it has to do with Australia was suffering from "Word police" if I remember correctly on a barrel so the headstamp of brass to make sense for importing there was Stamped Acc rel short for Accurate Reloading to fit on the brass. Seems some ninnies had issues with the acronym AR.

Boomy you are correct.

When ShortandFat and Con first bought the AR into Australia Victoria police had problems with the AR name(thought it sounded like Assault Rifle rotflmo), so that is how it got dubbed AccRel over here, sort of caught on over there too.

Well guys - you are not right.. It is not the same according to Pete at Quality Cartridge.
We just ordered 600 pcs of brass for the 458AR MEANING JEFFES 458 ACCURATE RELOADING.
But 458 AR is a different cartridge - similar to the 458 Socom.

Pete just wrote to me:
Ulrik, The 458 AR was designed by another customer for the AR-15 style rifles. It is similar to the 458 Socom. We have advised Midway and will pass along the info. I am trying to get them to keep the part number the same. Do not do anything towards midwaydanmark at this time.

Just so you know...
