In THIS PIC, and from my knowledge---the .550 Magnum is a full length, straight-walled, .460 WBY "basic" case. If that is true, what cartridge is the .600 Overkill based on? please do a search for the 600 OK.. robgunbuilder did the 600ok RNS did the 550 magnum and express I did the load dev and first 550 express this is a scratch built case... which is essentially a rimmed 600 NE... something like 235 gr on the 600 and 190 for the 550. the 550 magnum case an have WORKABLE cases from 460 weatherby, but techincally it's a propietary case, as it's 3" and a full blown webby is slightly less jeffe opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? The .600 Ok is based on the .600NE with a belt added instead of a rim.
