Ed will be leaving AHR as of today and I will miss working with him. Ed graciously agreed to stay on for a year with AHR when he sold me the company last October and during that time he has taught me so much. I will be losing him as a business associate but not as a true friend. We still hang out together and have some good times. Ed will be busy with many projects, he's not the kind who can sit still. Please give your warmest regards to a true gentleman and friend.

Wow,
I stil have the invoice from the first 600OK he built for me in '04, I think.

I wholeheartedly agree - he is a true gentleman and I consider him a friend as well.

Ed - if you need it, you got it - you have my number so don't hesitate to call.

Stay well my friend. Best wishes to you and to Wayne in continuing on with your dream.

Wayne, tell Ed to enjoy himself and not to WORK too hard.... Wink

WOW! That's a real surprise. I was just talking to Mr. Plummer about an AHR .600 OK and from what I could tell, it sounded like he was going to be working on my rifle that I'm planning for in spring 2009.He was like...."feel free to call anytime and ask questions and I'll answer them" or something like that. I only spoke with Ed a few times but he was very helpful, kind, and informative.

Good luck in the future Ed! If you are starting up another gunbuilding or gunsmithing company, pleaqse keep us informed. You will be missed by many.

Wayne, will AHR remain the same company after Ed's departure? What I mean to ask is, will you be offering the same products as before or will the company's direction change along with the caliber and rifle selections that are currently offered?

Thanks Again, Shannon Sewell (aka srshooter)

Really going to miss Ed's cheery voice over the phone as we hashed out all the particulars of several rifles, all big bore.
Wayne will carry on in fine fashion with Ed's dream company and the quality and attention to detail will be there. Have dealt with Wayne for a couple years now and he is knowledgeable and helpful. Ed left the company in good hands.
However, I am concerned that Ed will leave all his many titles behind, so from CEO to Ed Plummer, FT (fully retired)

Have a good one Ed, Paul M
