Glad you guys had a great time. Wish I could have been there. We just went up and watched it snow in the high country today. Fun but not the same.

As usual just my $.02

A big thanks to all the guys that allowed me to shoot their double rifles. Mike, JD, Cliff, Bailey. Thanks Harry for allowing me the masochistic pleasure of the 550Magnum. Bailey, that Hornet was fantabulous! Jeffe, was that the 470AccRel? DirtyJim, the 10.75x68 MAS 36 is always interesting. If I missed someone just send me a nasty PM and I'll post appologiesSmiler The food was great.

Thank you Bayou Rifles for allowing us to rearrange your backstop!

Thank you Rusty for allowing bolt trash to shoot alongside the fine doubles.

Looking forward to the spring shoot with my 600.

Great to see everyone at the shoot! It's really all a social event for me!

Congrats to John who won the bolt group with his newly purchased .375 H&H.

Congrats to JD for winning the Double rifle group.

Baily won the single shot with the single shot 7X57R that he made and engraved. What a beauty!

Jeffe with 470 AccRel and JD with the 505 Gibbs shook all the cob webs and dirty dauber nest out of the range cover and shooting benches!

Special thanks to Jeffe, Bob, Mike and Jim for pitching in and helping!

See y'all in April!

Saturday was a real bummer for me. I live east of Dallas, but was working in NW Houston Friday and Saturday doing some construction staking (surveying.) Was supposed to be done by 10 and head down to the Shoot. Unfortunately, I didn't finish until about 2:30, so it was a really long drive home.
Hated to miss it, but I hope to make the April shoot. Maybe I'll have my Lott by then.
Glad to hear ya'll had a good time, though.
Looking forward to the next chance.

Rusty: Thanks for the photos. Boy, I'd love to be there at one of your shoots. Who is the gent with the old hammer gun, and what is it? The woman with the head band also looks like she's a good shot.

Bill, that's Bill Pace with the 500 bpe. The woman with the head band is quite a good shot. That is Berit Aagard, who is married to Bill. She's shooting Finn Aagard's 375 H&H. See the most recent issue of Sports Afield for her buffalo hunt with it (Number 50 cape buffalo). Watching Berit shoot left handed is a marvel. They are great folks and I'm proud to be a friend. Bob: Thanks for that information. They sound like a wonderful couple to know. Love that .500 BPE!
