ColoradoMattIt is sad that the Elmer Keith museum is closing. I never got a chance to go up and see it. I love single action revolvers, and the Keith #5 is the most iconic/famous custom single action revolver ever made. Now it will be stuck in someone's collection, and not seen again for a long time. Wish I could have seen it in person just once.

9.3 X 75RMatt, I did see #5 several years ago when Elmer's son Ted had it at the NRA Annual convention in St. Louis. Maybe 1988? Ted was most personable. I was in awe. I agree with you, shame it won't be available to the shooting public to view. I never made it to Elmer's museum either, wish I had.

465H&HI was fortunate enough to be living in Salmon ID in the seventies and got to handle most of those guns at Elmer's home up on the bench.
