I just wanted to extend a public - THANK YOU to Michael.

I recently purchased a .475 B&M from Michael, as a Christmas gift for a very special client of mine. From beginning to end, ole 458 was very helpful, and even went the extra mile to provide 50 rounds of ammo, at no additional charge.

Its a beautiful rifle, my client loves it, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Thanks my friend!!!

Sincerely,

I traded a .300 RUM to him for a .270 WSM and got dies and brass with it. He is a real gentleman and a pleasure to deal with.

I agree with you all.. He`s truly a fine guy.. Very special. I only have one major issue with him .... - he lives much too far away from me... Could have been great fun to be able to pas by now and then and do some fun shooting with the biggest bore rifles... Wink

beer to Michael458!

Same story here. He has gone above and beyond and helped me on a couple of occasions. And...he is a wealth of information!

Let me add to the list of folk who have not only gained great benefit from Michael458's test work and bullet development but have personally received assistance, advice and components at his expense.

I am also humbled by his kind temperment and respectful responses even to those who try to rattle his cage.

Michael is the kind of guy I point to and tell my children - "grow up to be like him". I can't think of a better compliment or more true sentiment.

Ryan, Baxter, Ulrik, Lane, boomy, Foobar, thanks, mighty kind words! Much appreciated I promise. But I do these things and enjoy helping out other shooters/hunters! If I find something that vastly improves my chances of success in the field, no matter from what corner it comes, it's my desire to share this with you.

CCMDoc, I don't have the words, and have no idea what to say to you! I am not sure I have ever received, or even deserved such a comment, but I take it to heart rest assured. I will do everything I can to live up to that expectation. In the end, it's all we leave behind of value, the things we did, and the impressions we made. For your kids and mine, let's hope they all "Grow up to be Better than Me". Thank you, sincerely.

As I look around me, Shooters and Hunters are my friends and brothers. It has always been that way. I have little in common with others.

Another mug hoisted to Michael. We were PMing about .45-70 performance in the No. 1 and next thing I know there's a sampler of CEBs and North Forks in my mail box. Good man!

Thanks Michael!!!

Michael goes overboard to help anyone who asks and then some that don't. He is top notch and the work he has done is amazing. The time and money he puts into testing and then gives all his data to the public. We all owe him a lot!

Geat stuff Michael. Let us not forget Sam who contributed a lot to the design of the #13 solid and for all the Double rifle testing as well. Sam was a great host when I visted him in NC on his invitation and he let me shoot a whole pile of his DRs as did Corbin.

Two great people who have contributed so much to our sport. Thank you.

Absolutely, 100% correct! There were many days I needed a little push from Sam to get going on some things! And, had he not thought of the Barrel Strains for the Double Rifles, I would not have, I don't own a Double Rifle! So for sure, Sam has been a major contributor, idea guy, and just all around "Genius"! HEH....... Kinda fun to have around too, I never cut him a seconds slack! LOL........

I am dragging Sam to Dallas with us too, I hope to get to see lot's of our AR Pals there! Can't wait! What a Party! HEH......

Michael and Sam, I would like to thank you guys as well for all the work and the insight it has provided. Before you guys came along, I thought there was only one proper bullet manufacturer! Cool

Since Barnes has now gone the "marketing" route instead of the "performance" route, I can't thank you enough for introducing me to CEB! patriot

If it wasn't for Mike I too would be one of those still shooting round noses AND carrying around a 10lb rifle ! (both problems taken care of, thanks Mike !).

It has been my good fortune and privalige to share a camp with Mike and his lovely wife Jaun and can tell you all there is no finer company you can share time with.
(and he is a superbly accomplished rifleman and buffalo hunter to boot.)

Mike is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and backs that knowledge with experience and exposure. He is also extremely gracious with his knowledge.

I'm not surprised to see the number of people he has extended his hand of goodwill to, that's the type of guy I have come to know him as.

I consider it an honour that again in 2012 I will be given the oportunity to again hunt with and spend more time in the bush with Mike and his family.

Thumbs up to one of the true, old-school gentleman of the hunting world.

I would have to agree with everyone, Michael goes out of his way to help someone - even at his own expense. This next year I plan on meeting him and learning from his wealth of knowledge.

Thanks to Michael's tireless efforts we have all escaped the dark ages of conventional wisdom regarding terminal performance. I for one would eagerly buy a printed copy of all of his testing. Thank you, Michael.

I'm waiting for a loading manual for big bores. Seriously, he has been very helpful for me and the work he has done convinced me to order some of the CEB's for .458 and .470 NE.
Can't wait to load em up and try em out!
Merry Christmas and a Happy new year
