Tip Burns sent me an email with pictures of the two stocks that have been hogged out.

Just wanted to share. . . .OK, I'm real proud and wanted to show 'em off!

Tip Burns is located in Canyon Lake Texas
BURNS GUN REPAIR
Tip was reccommended to me by my friend and fellow forum member BobC.

Tip has been a joy! He calls me to let me know how things are going. He answers the phone when I call to ask him a question.

The wood is American Black Walnut. I bought the blanks from Robert Watts at WATTS WALNUT
I own 3 of Robert's blanks.

Robert's prices were very reasonable and he was a pleasure to do business with.

Great to hear about your progress with Tip. I had only had one small job done with Tip and was extra pleased, but whenenver I recommend someone I am so glad to see that he delivers. Got your Whitworth front sight hood. I also got a higher white bead to install, hopefully to bring POI down a few inches at 50, and a nice white bead friendly to my over 50 eyes. Hope the work on the 404's keeps progressing. Bob
