I tried to discribe this to a friend, who thinks I'm full of it. I tried to search the archives, but I couldn't come up with anything. Can somebody explain to be the basis (chasis-action) upon which the rifle is built, the actual bore/cartridge dimensions and some pictures of one, along with a couple pictures of the cartridge building process?

If it's easier, perhaps a link to a previous post that shows this?

Thank you. Amazing. You guys are nutz...I mean that in a good way of course. When we built my .458 (in the picture below) we made a vice for the action and ran about 50' of string to the trigger, then we drew straws to see who was going to pull it. And that was NOT an experiemental design.

I don't like playing with bombs!
