Does anyone have a Lee Factory Crimp die for .416 Taylor? I am having Lee make me one…but I would like to borrow one for the rifle I am working up for my son’s first buffalo hunt.

If I'm recalling correctly, the LCD's are very length specific, and one for a 416 Rem Mag can't be set a little deeper to crimp the Taylor?

You can just set the Taylor on top of a small cal shell holder and even add a shem if needed and use a .416 RM FCD on a Taylor. I do this for some other cases where I have a correct cal FCD for a different but longer case.

But I don’t have a .416 RM Lee FCD. They are not expensive to have the custom one made and will do. Just kills a month to get it by the time they receive your dummy round until they get it back to you.

Was just trying to make hay while the sun was shining. Smiler
