Does anyone have a Lee Factory Crimp die for .416 Taylor? I am having Lee make me one…but I would like to borrow one for the rifle I am working up for my son’s first buffalo hunt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. If I'm recalling correctly, the LCD's are very length specific, and one for a 416 Rem Mag can't be set a little deeper to crimp the Taylor? | |||

You can just set the Taylor on top of a small cal shell holder and even add a shem if needed and use a .416 RM FCD on a Taylor. I do this for some other cases where I have a correct cal FCD for a different but longer case. But I don’t have a .416 RM Lee FCD. They are not expensive to have the custom one made and will do. Just kills a month to get it by the time they receive your dummy round until they get it back to you.
