When I joined AR just a couple of short years ago, I was the blissfully ignorant owner of a .375H&H. I thought it was a BIG BORE. Since then, I have acquired a Blaser 9.3X62 with an additional 30-06 barrel, a CZ 9.3X62, a .404 Jeffery, a .500 Jeffery, a .416 Rigby. Next month I am going to order a .450 Dakota from AHR and God help me, Rob has almost got me talked into a .600 OK. I think I need an intervention!

Until you do what I did today, you will only have a slight addiction. My girlfriend wanted to use a rifle this year with a little more uummphh than her .260 Remington. I went into my gun room looking for a .308 or a .30/06. What I "found" was a .404 Jeffery that couldn't "place" for about five minutes until I remembered taking it on a trade about 5 years ago.... DAMN!!!!

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Don’t you just love those little surprises. I found a 14 inch contender barrel in Hornet the other day and another AR15 receiver??? I still don’t remember buying. I think I need to start doing a better job of logging things in.

Dave Bush, why would you need an intervention ?? Its all perfectly normal behavior.

After all, guns are just like cars, far too much power is barely enough.

Then you just need to control it, and that's the pointy end of the stick!!

I like the fact that when friends ask how many guns I own, I can't tell them with certainty!

I would have to agree. Its the guns not AR.
I was a recovering addict. I went 7 months last year without firing a shot. I was trying to go completely traditional with long bows for the last couple of years. Then I fell off the wagon when some of my customers wanted to go to my range behind my gunshop. Being around all of these guns was a irrestible temptation and I started to shoot again and now have a new 45/70 barrel for my encore pistol. Total number of guns? Ijust found one that I forgot about for years.
