What is this thing you call "paycheck"?

I am flattered that someone posted here about shooting my 550 Gibbs at HnS the first year. I had it out shooting yesterday. Sunny and 60-degrees here.

I believe enough people shot BD700's Four Bore Double last fall that we could start an ancillary thread and call it the "Bore Rifle" club. I would nominate Terry Wienerdog as an honorary president, him having experience in these matters.

Have everything I need to start my 500 AR this summer.

I cannot resist since I just bought a 600OK.
Now I can start using up some powder!
I just added a 505 Gibbs and thus far it is wild to shoot. dancing
I have added a 470 Capstick to my list but am dropping several of my 50's as they sell. Confused
Yeah, I don't know why ;either but that is how it is going.

Over 10 years since I posted.

12 Gauge From Hell x2 (mine)
20 Gauge Hellboy (mine)

500 Mbogo x2 (mine)
500 A2 x 2 (mine)
500 Jeffery (lb404)
.505 Gibbs (mine)

And last but not least, the 12.7 X 68 mm Magnum Tornado x 2 (mine) aka "49-10" for: .492-Bore/.500-Caliber/.338 Lapua Magnum Improved of 2010 Wink

I am loading ammo for that last one today.
Shooting tomorrow.

Doug,

The jet was strapped to my shoulders! Does that count?!!! Cool

SafariKid,

Yea man, you could kill some "Nutra Rats" with that thing! 100 rounds per second. Too bad we could only carry 5.78 seconds worth!

Well, I suppose that I can join the 500 club since my 500 AccR has been barreled (on a Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan), chambered, and is already feeding. Sights are in place. It awaits some cosmetic work before being shipped "home". At the moment there are no mercury reducers and no muzzlebreaks, though I may add a mercury reducer since I'd like the rifle to weigh 9.5 lbs. with scope.

Looking forward to doing the 'optimal charge weight' load development, anywhere between 6400-7000 ftlbs. Accuracy is always the key.

Biebs,
I think the membership is only for those who:
a) actually had said big bore in his possession for more than 17 nanoseconds;
b) actually fired a round through said big bore
