Wayne Doudna had molds for the 550. He cast a 615 and a 715 grain bullet. Where ever that business went, so went the molds.

Mountain Molds can wipe you one up, no problems.

The molds Wayne used belonged to Neal and I. I am not pleased. Load data is on ammo guide and pressure tested. Nef made the molds. I think I have a single cavity at home

Thanks,

I'm looking for a retailer I guess. I don't cast, and neither does my customer who we are building the rifle for. We're looking for someone who casts and sells them.

Try the guys at the Cast Boolits forum.
Some of those guys have hundreds of molds and just look for an excuse to buy more and cast for them.

Cheers, John

Bitteroot I feel youre pain.

I'm getting the details worked out for a mountain mold set for my 500 jeff.
Being as the case neck is only .300" I'm not real happy with the lyman or the lee slugs even tho they shoot great in my ruger.
Great bunch of guys at the cast boolit site, and you can learn much.

I have been in touch with Mike Rintoul about a gas checked 700gr cast.

I will put a call in to him and see where he is on it.
