How hard would it be to convert a Ruger 77 (MKII or Hawkeye) to a 458 WM? Assuming you were starting out with a 338 or the like and other than the re-barreling how much feed and function work would be required? Thanks Matt V. ______________________ Sometimes there is no spring... Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm...

It would be easy. Probably just some reshaping and polishing of the feed ramp and rails after a rebarrel. A re-barrel and a feed job.

easy ... easier than a mauser if you start with a magnum (7/300/338) it is a rebarrel away... or a 458 AccRel .. or for a couple more dollars, you can make it a lott, which is smaller than the AR my experience is that it is a rebarrel and LITTLE feeding opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round?
