Another Ruger Conversion Question
How hard would it be to convert a Ruger 77 (MKII or Hawkeye) to a 458 WM?

Assuming you were starting out with a 338 or the like and other than the re-barreling how much feed and function work would be required?

Thanks

Matt V.

It would be easy. Probably just some reshaping and polishing of the feed ramp and rails after a rebarrel.

A re-barrel and a feed job.

easy ... easier than a mauser
if you start with a magnum (7/300/338) it is a rebarrel away... or a 458 AccRel .. or for a couple more dollars, you can make it a lott, which is smaller than the AR

my experience is that it is a rebarrel and LITTLE feeding
