Ben589Well, I'll consider it a form of field artillery from way back.
Those things used to sling 800 lb. (and heavier) rocks into castle walls 500 and 600 yards away.
You fellas can do the math. I don't know what kind of velocity or arc we're talking about on those "bullets", but 800lbs. I figure would be right around a 5,600,000 grain bullet.
Talk about "use enough gun".

Would make a great ending act for the STC club. Maybe we do it in South Texas and sling our mascot across the border next year.
