Awsome pair, dude! Amazing how the slight viewing angle makes the twist rates look so different in the pic above. What are the twist rates you selected for the 600OK and 500 Jeffery? Sorry can't help but ask, as I am "twisted" too.

Think you're seeing the muzzle brake on the 600, not the twist. Took me a minute to figure it out as well.

Man, those things sure do look impressive from the "Business End" Do my eyes decieve me or does that 600 not have a recoil pad?
|
One of Us |
Thanks Guys ..It does Not have a recoil pad as I replaced it with a rubber buttplate and also hollowed out the stock a bit and saved over half pound to get the weight down to 8pds even! With that integral brake, its not bad at all...Really! "That's not a knife..THIS is a KNIFE" !

S-K, .....and I thought I was partial to "Stubby" tubes! Very nice "pair" of "Stocking Stuffers!" You won't ever have to tell Guides, PH's & Trackers to stand off slightly to the rear & side.....after they receive their intial dose of 400hz ear tone the behavior will become ingrained. Cheers, Number 10

HA-HA Gumboot!I swear, its not that bad at 2100fps,but I wouldnt want to try the 2400fps loads ,except on a dare! Seriously, the Integral Brake makes ALL the differnce apparently as it SHOULD Hurt, must be the brake and the slip on sissy pad I use ONLY when sighting in! As for that Heavy 500Jeff(no brake),I got 2100+ with 570s from my Light 500Jeff(6pds) also with a 16" barrel(now owned by Bigdoggy) "That's not a knife..THIS is a KNIFE" !
