Ole Miss GuyArtemis- How wonderful! Who is the author and is there a part 1 available?
30 May 2008, 00:29
Artemis.OMG,
The book was a real find. It was tucked away in the corner of an old book shop, covered in dust, unloved, unwanted and smelling a little on the fousty side if I'm honest!
Now it has a new, loving home.
As I write this, it sits beside me waiting for my attention

The book is called Livestock in Barracks by Anthony Armstrong. As you've probably guessed, it chronicles humourous accounts of birds, beasts and soldiery. Definately one for the collection.
I am just about to post another excerpt, which earlier today had me crying with laughter - a tad embarrassing in a public place
Enjoy

Ole Miss GuyThank you.
I will do a search and see if I can locate a copy.
It's just a jewel and I have a cubby hole waiting for it.

yukon deltaHaven't found a copy yet on this side of the pond. The shipping would cost more than the book.
