I know and i like this game ( Seladang ) ! A very interesting buffalo of the mountain rain forest of south/east Asia ! Protected in all country , very difficult to get a possibility for hunting a problem animal !

Do you know if there are pac hunts for gaur? I've never read something about that!

Officialy no ! There was few possibility's in Malaysia , years ago , for a lot of money !

My favorite bovine, hope they can be hunted again one day.

Amazing animals! The master bull looks nice in that clip with a real "square ridge" on its back and reasonable spread. The sheer size and shiny black coat and the muscles on steroids never ceases to impress me. While the rare animal is know to attack and kill the odd person, problem animals as such are unheard of. The wild water buffalo is a different story altogether.

In the 1950s some - in Western Ghat region of Kerala, the local muslim hunters used to shoot the odd calf or yearling. Then they would run to cut its throat to make it edible a "halal". Instances of cows killing such guys are known in that region!
