safari-lawyerDennis is my fellow Alabamian, and that is the most impressive sheep trophy I've seen. He also won the Caldesi award for that ram. Congrats Dennis.
Great trophies, congratulations to the hunters!!
Dagga Boy,
What is going on with the High Altai Argalis? My husband has a 2011 hunt booked to Mongolia and rumor is no import permits will be issued this year. If I remember correctly, only three were issued last year.

Dagga BoyKathi,
I apologize for taking so long to respond. I've been trying to find an answer to your question.
All I've been able to find is that it's still being worked on and we're just going to have to be patient for now.
That was a long time to wait for not much of an answer, I know. But that's all there is. If we get news, we'll get the word out.

KathiThe story of the Hangai Argali is in the March/April 2010 issue of SCI magazine. Great story about how the ram was first seen in February and when it was found again he literally hopped on the first available flight to Mongolia.
Well worth the read, Congratulations.
