Nube: Pakistan is home to huntable populations of himalayan and sindh ibex, Afghan, Punjab, and blanford urials, as well as three species of markhor. Plus boar, hog deer, nilgai, black buck, and a gazelle subspecies that is slipping my mind.Hope this helps.

Just to add to that list, we also have a huntable population of Blue Sheep and a small non huntable population of Marcopolo Sheep right near the Khunjrab top bordering the Wakhan corridor. Add to that some excellent wing shooting of Ducks, Partridge, grouse, doves, pigeon and snipes. Pakistan does have some excellent hunting opportunities.

Absolutely gorgeous country and superb trophies. Thanks for posting those pictures.

My knees are too trashed for ibex now, but I would love to hunt for blackbuck, nilgai and some of the deer species in there native country some day.

I watched an episode of The Boddington Experience last night that was filmed in Pakistan. They took hog deer, black buck and Blanford Urial as well as shot ducks.

It was extremely interesting. It has further peaked my interest in a trip to this fascinating country.

Great stuff Danish. Is the Kennion gazelle similar to the goitered gazelle found in Iran?
