Peter AndersenNube: Pakistan is home to huntable populations of himalayan and sindh ibex, Afghan, Punjab, and blanford urials, as well as three species of markhor. Plus boar, hog deer, nilgai, black buck, and a gazelle subspecies that is slipping my mind.Hope this helps.

Nube we have 2 species of Ibex as bwanawannabe correctly pointed out, we have three species of Urial sheep namely Blandford, Punjab and Afghan Urial, we have three species of Markhors, Astore Markhor, Kashmir Markhor and Suleman Markhor, the plains game in Pakistan include Blackbuck, hog deer, nilgai, cheetal, Wild boars, Kennion gazelle and Chinkara gazelle, golden jackal, desert cat. we also have some interesting but unhuntable species like White striped hyena, civet, asiatic leopard, asiatic cheetah and Mugger crocodile

Please continue to post prictures from your unbelievable hunting opportunitys. I truly wish it would be affordable

Thank you guys for leeting me know what species there are. It seems some of them even vary in color a bit as well. You sure have some great hunting there Danish!! Thank you so much for the pictures. Please keep them up.

Just to add to that list, we also have a huntable population of Blue Sheep and a small non huntable population of Marcopolo Sheep right near the Khunjrab top bordering the Wakhan corridor. Add to that some excellent wing shooting of Ducks, Partridge, grouse, doves, pigeon and snipes. Pakistan does have some excellent hunting opportunities.

My knees are too trashed for ibex now, but I would love to hunt for blackbuck, nilgai and some of the deer species in there native country some day.

larryshoresI watched an episode of The Boddington Experience last night that was filmed in Pakistan. They took hog deer, black buck and Blanford Urial as well as shot ducks.
It was extremely interesting. It has further peaked my interest in a trip to this fascinating country.
