Been to South America 4 times for bird shooting. Becoming an addict. Buddy and I booked a hunt at a lodge through a reputable booking agent. Flight from Miami to our destination got cancelled. Next flight we could get on was 3-4 days, so we had to come home. Outfitter is now telling us he will not refund our money (trip was prepaid-we only had to pay shell bill and tips before leaving) BUT will rebook us for next year-with a $2.00 increase in cost of each box of shells plus an additional $400+/- due to "expenses". Needless to say we are pissed. We have asked the booking agent to intervene-this was a new lodge for us-our previous four lodges have all told us since the cancellation was out of our control (we tried for 3 hours to get there somehow on another airline but no luck) they would have allowed us to rebook at the same cost. What's fair here? "Never, ever, book a hunt with Jeri Booth or Detail Company Adventures" | ||
