Half a loaf? There was no half loaf in that bill. 4000 illegals allowed into the country a day and after that "IF" Bidenhole wants he can stop the flow? And the bill would restrict Trump from using 212f of the Immigration and Naturalization act. This gives any president the ability to close the border no legislation needed. I know your knowledge of anything military is limited so I'll type this slowly.

By the time Biden was inaugurated and became Commander in Chief Trump's surrender to the Taliban was well advanced and our troop strength had dropped to about 2,500 troops, enough to defend the ground they stood on but little else. Biden could either continue the drawdown Trump had agreed to or try to get authorization for additional troops, which likely would have had to take somewhere to stand by assault since Trump had also largely stopped air strikes on the Taliban in support of the Afghan Army. He chose to finish the withdrawal.

You could educate yourself here if you can find somebody to read it to you.
