There is another aspect to this argument that I thought of late last night.

The argument includes the lesser of two evils, the Dems fronted the wrong candidate, a woman, and Biden hanging in there too long, thus the recommendation is to find an electable centrist candidate.

I haven't been buying that and said the reason is we are dealing with radicalized people on the Right who put Trump back in office specifically so he could do the damage to the country they wanted on their behalf. And they called it getting on the right track, etc.

They knew what they were voting for, yet blamed the liberals for having to make the choice.

I hope you can see that's a "look what you made me do" thing.

It's the mentality of blaming the victim, although I'm not calling Dems victims. The victim is the country, domestically and internationally.

It's blame shifting and avoiding ownership, to save face, introspective and externally.

That's why I say it's the RINOs who can save the country. All you need to do is own your BS.

Seems to me there are three contradictions in your first sentence. "Solid basis" and "biased" seems contradictory, and so is MSNBC and Fox compared parallel. "Solid basis" includes facts and actual undistorted quotes, and of course perspective.

So, you tell me how to present information and perspective so solid, or I wish profound, that it isn't so easy to just dismiss as bias?

There are plenty of polls saying support for dems is really low. But it's not because they are agreeing with trump or the right wing. It's because they are damned tired of these dems not showing more spine in what is happening. Expect a whole lot of dems to be primaried because of their lack of balls in standing up to trump and his violations of the constitution. From what I've read, it's already a thing. Too many people looking at their political paychecks rather than doing their jobs.

While I don't believe Trump would actually attempt a takeover of Canada, I do believe he would consider it if he felt there was an upside for him personally. I don't believe he would do it deliberately, but his instability makes vigilance a good idea.

In Iowa house district 78, the dem resigned to take another position, He won in a landslide in 2024 with 67% of the vote (Cedar Rapids). He is very successful & popular. They just held a special election & the dem coming in got 80%. Win or lose that's a hell of a swing. And a real poll.

Bill, trump may daydream of canada's oil fields, and a trump tower in every province. It's worth as much as me day dreaming about Mariel Molino.
