Yeah I said similar today, presuming much but it seems they told the killers father and both of them made an incredibly hard but honourable decision to notify and help law enforcement.

I dont quite agree. The partner has shown commendable common sense and fortitude to do the right thing. Thats not signs of illness.

All the facts reported is the trans person assisted in bringing the suspected killer to arrest.

Just out of interest. Here we have a category for people who commit such act's, but are found insane. Its called preventive detention. It basically means that if their defence is insanity, they get jailed for the rest of their life to prevent them doing any other harm.
