Are baseball cards “nobel?” 2020

My point is one is harmless, legal, and viable but mundane to some…sounds like a lot of businesses.

Scott’s analogies were not only vile but illegal. A lot of daylight between the two.

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

It is not just whether or not a market for something exists, but it is the propriety of marketing an item by the person doing it. It is okay to market condoms. It would be a little unseemly for a Catholic priest to be the one doing the marketing. I am fine with some MMA fighter marketing digital collectible cards and gold sneakers. Seems a bit inappropriate (demeaning may be a better term) for someone that is a former President and who is running for President to be doing it. There is a place for people selling low end used cars . . . I prefer to think that a Presidential candidate is not who I would like to see doing it. This all comes as no surprise, however. Look at a Trump rally and the people attending a Trump rally, any notion of decorum is lost. It is the dumbing down of American politics.

You are entitled to your opinion…but let’s face the fact that it is…only your opinion. Wink

Maybe we should take President’s pictures off of currency.

I am calling your bluff.

Please read this and look at the simple pie chart.

https://www.pgpf.org/finding-s...wPyfO4xoC0t4QAvD_BwE

49% is Individual income tax. Very little of that is from the super rich.

36% is Payroll tax - again from the salaried middleclass.

Only 9% is corporate tax. That is where all the income is hidden and tax fraud happens.

Anyone who would vote to let Warren Buffet, Musk, Bezos, the Waltons, those hold stocks valued at 100 mill pay less than they do is a sucker.

That is the fallacy. They do pay way more total taxes than you — WAY MORE.

Direct quote from your article
quote:
In 2019, the most recent year with available data for tax liabilities, the top quintile of earners paid 90 percent of all individual income taxes, while people in the lowest two income quintiles had negative income tax liabilities (that is, on average, they received more in refundable tax credits than they owed in income taxes).

Quintile is a 5th, or 20%
Top 20% pay 90% of all income tax
Bottom 40% has a negative tax burden
Meaning that another 40% pay 10%

Yes. So the top 20% includes the professional category wh earn around 150k to 300k.

They have been driven into the middle class group over the last 30 years. In the 60s and 70s people earning 100k were considered well off.

All people earning over 1 mil should not get the 15% reinvestment break. That just a scam to make rich even richer.

oh, my sweet summer child - in the 70s, $1m was real money, today, it's the norm for retirement .. in the 60s, 100k was ridiculously wealthy - today, it's, meh, in terms of college educated -- that's why the economists USED to talk about 1980 dollars .. a term unheard of today ... my parents bought a house for $4,750 - today it's "worth" $112k .. with ZERO real improvements .. it has 3 or 4 window AC units, and the work dad and I did in the early 70s to try and make it better -

there's this thing called inflation .. which nixon created with his moving off hard currency .

it's almost like your education was frozen in the early 70s ..

nice of you to acknowledge that your link was wrong, though .. it's about time your learnt from your mistakes

You are so stupid it is not even funny.

Your education in some redneck deep South brainwasher is not worth pointing out.

You can't read simple English. You can't identify the most important point in what I posted in just the 3 sentences.

Try again and FOCUS on the first sentence. Yes the simple first sentence. My link works perfectly.

Let me spell it out for you. The stats prove the lies that you GOP MAGA retards keep spouting that 90% revenue comes from the rich.

That is a lie. The top 20% are not all rich people.

So we are identifying that the top 1% needs to pay more tax.

You don't have the brains to be in the top 1%. So go back into your hole and cry.

oh, i'll cut him some slack

Oh mighty anointed one NAKI

here's a PRIMARY source for you (you do know the significance of a PRIMARY source, right?) for income tax revenue -
you can go slice and dice this anyway you want -- but it won't "prove" your message

https://www.irs.gov/statistics

but what do YOU care about US taxes? It's an internal matter of a county that you are neither from nor are a refugee within -- might go solve that whole slavery thing in your home Country -- hope to it, son, there's moral high ground to win
