how's the dictionary.com task coming along? making progress?

i do find it adorable how a person says they aren't accountable to anyone, and can't be assigned tasks, and then tries to hold someone else accountable to tasks they assigned

next thing you know, steve will try to sell a savage 99 as a winchester lever action, as
they are sorta kinda the same thing

I will

Steve,
I know big words and math scares you --

you are describing "Revenue streams" - which have many sources, and are confused that tax and tariff start with the same two letters--

if they were the exact same, there wouldn't be two words describing two different actions --

oh, and i get it, when we conflate all taxes together, from dog license in colorado to capitol gains, you get confused, as you've only ever had to fill in a 1040ez ..

if *I* has said they were the same, you and maggie would be right along, screaming "false equivalence" or some other magic chant that seems to get you your way ...

how are you coming along at your task? it's pretty simple

oh, and do accept your are "answerable" to many bosses, good of you to recognize that -- though and adult would say "perhaps i misspoke" .. but, honey, our expectations are soo low, just not fighting it seems me be enough --

since you can't define EITHER word, and refuse a trivial task assignment, why in the heck would i bother dithering with you to prove some whacky strawman you invented --

here's your FIRST HINT, 1040ez --- the IRS doesn't collect tariffs -- and the progression moves onward from there ....

Oh honey, how many continents are you currently doing business on? Was that one or none? I'm at four so far this year.

Do you even run a business, because if you do, you should recognize that taxes are collected far more than the IRS. Are you really this dumb? I have asked that question before...you are that dumb.

Poor little dear, still can't quite explain how our government, most economists and everyone who is sane considers tariffs to be tax but he does not.

I'm not answerable to you asshat, I follow the law, that's where it stops. I checked out of corporate America a couple dozen years ago. I live a debt free lifestyle and answer to nobody. My clients are happy and I turn away far, far more work than I accept.

1040EZ rotflmo you should have become a comedian instead on an internet troll.

oh, honey, *I* didn't say IRS is the only tax collector = that's YOUR strawman 00 what was your question? "are YOU that dumb?" was it? -- you seem to have trouble with nuance and context, so i thought keeping it simple would help you out --

hmm, let's see - what does IRS stand for?
internal revenue service -- and since the context is FEDERAL, the two major players IN CONTEXT would be IRS and Customs - IRS for FEDERAL taxes (that's the context, try to keep up) and Customs for tariffs --

strange, the government OBVIOUSLY sees them as different things

Steve, I tried to find a simple explanation that would be appropriate for Jeff’s comprehension level, but unfortunately there are no Sesame Street videos discussing tariffs (there are, however, some discussing composition concepts like punctuation and capitalization that he would certainly find helpful). But the Tax Foundation, the world's leading nonpartisan tax policy nonprofit for over 85 years, has produced this simple video that, maybe if he watches it a couple of times, slowly, he might pick up a point or two.

It’s like a cartoon Jeff, so pour yourself a big bowl of Fruit Loops and sit back and enjoy. While it’s pretty simple and done like a cartoon so I would be hopeful you'd learn something, I’m not optimistic. You seems to show up here just to argue these days, so I expect another good slug (pun intended) of vitriol. Maybe I will earn a honey or sweetie out of this post. So be it. Although Jeff perhaps a better use of your time would be writing the Tax Foundation a letter outlining how they got it all wrong and you got it all figured out with the help of your dictionary.

I am pretty sure you never worked at Enron, but you definitely have the whole smartest guy in the room thingy down. On those OKRs you said you do each week, I wonder what you say about wasting inordinate amounts of time every day making inane posts, stalking folks, baiting responses and trolling for arguments on a meaningless political blog? I'm sure that impresses management.

[Steve, next time when Jeff goes on one of his rants, just remind yourself of that the old quote about wrestling with a pig . . . remember he’s not here to do anything but argue.]
