You really have a hard time reading. The poster said a war in Crimea caused Russia to need to sell Alaska. This is not true. Alaska was bought in 1867. Any war in Crimea that might have caused Russia to become bankrupt would have happened in 1856-57. That being the Crimea War. That was a Great Powers War that did not cause Russia to sell Alaska.

Once again, slowly, we are taking about a war that Bob implied caused Russia to sell Alaska bc Russia went bankrupt from that war. That is incorrect. The only War in Ukraine with Russia before Alaska was purchased, in timeframe Bob implied, was Crimea War. That war did not cause Russia to sell Alaska.

I agree with you. As I understand it, Putin refused to attend any meeting that included Zelensky.
