The last time Russia was at war with Ukraine, They were bankrupt and forced to sell Alaska to the USA to raise money. One wonders if that is the reason Trump chose the meeting place. Rubs old Putin's nose in it. No bailout this time! There is a bounty on Putin's head by the Haig. Maybe some native North American will put Putin under arrest to collect that $1 million dollar bounty. At the point of a Mosin Nagant perhaps. I hope and pray something productive comes out of this, and that it’s not just a carve up of Ukraine’s territory which Trump will force them to agree to under threat of withholding weapons or intel.

At the end of the day Trump holds some of the cards. If he threatened to arm Ukraine with everything they want it will make continuing the war very painful for Vlad.
