This is interesting. At first thought, from the heading and who posted the OP I didn't think much about it.

Now that I think about it more, instead of the title and who posted it, I now think I was influenced mostly by my preconceived notion that WOKE is full of holes. That is - it has varying definitions, meanings, ambiguities, etc. that its meaning is muddy at best, and depends on which side of the cultural hostilities one is on. While I still think that's true, it is something worth thinking about.

Here's what I mean: The OP premise could itself be within the concept of WOKE.

Think about that.

I also think what Harris said in that short clip represents the more benign aspects of WOKE interpretation.

So, I did what I normally do and researched a little, to refresh what I thought I knew and learn something, especially from the POV that I think Lane is on.

But here it is - an article by a well-respected rightist journalist who in my estimation speaks Lane's view very well. If this doesn't stir thought and perspective, I don't know what will. You don't need to agree with what the author says, but he says it very well. I looked for flaws in the narrative such as bum facts and outright lies and didn't find enough to count. This is about perspective. I think WOKE and anti-woke are about equal in that both are heavily influenced by ideology.

It seems to me that the word WOKE and what it means is loaded.

On the left I don't see significant hate and potential violence stirred by it.

On the right I see lots of hate and potential violence.

It's woke and anti-woke.

I think the right has latched onto it and made it a focal point in their culture wars, and embellished it.

So, the culture war and perspectives really are a big deal.

Just look at all the rhetoric of hate from the Right. Most of the embellishments are lies. "Vermin" and "poisoning the blood of the country" are just small samples.

In the bigger context what is the projected future?

Let's say Trump wins or loses. If he wins project 2025 is the playbook. If he loses there is no doubt, he will deny it and stir.
