Seen from afar, I'd like to mention a few things that us Rest-of-the-World see happening in the US of A (and if I offend some people, apologies in advance: I'm probably too dumb to care about it).

Someone has managed to get the war in Ukraine heading for the negotiation table.

Someone has managed to get India and Pakistan to stop a quickly escalating kerfuffle, and talk business instead.

Someone has managed to get a new trade deal with the UK, and countless other countries.

Someone has declared that boys are boys, girls are girls, and things with dicks have no business being in girls' locker rooms.

Someone has declared that boys can't pretend to be girls in order to punch girls in the face.

Someone has found hundreds of billions of dollars in fraudulent grants, disbursments, payments, has closed the tap, and is doing his best to recover them.

Someone is forcing accountability on a totally corrupt system (and the democrats are squealing like pigs, which should tell you something...).

Someone is forcing Big Pharma to stop gouging prices and charging ten times the real cost for life-or-death drugs.

Someone has managed to get China to sit at a table and start negotiating new trade agreements.

Someone is stopping maddened educators-doctors-psys from castrating young boys to accommodate the fantasies of deranged adults.

Someone is forcing institutions, corporations, schools, and everyone to Judge People By The Content Of Their Character, And Not By The Color Of Their Skin (strange, it feels like I heard that line before...).

Someone has stopped the influx of millions of people entering the country without the slightest document, and taking advantage of free education, healthcare, and other perks... Even free voting, btw.

I could continue for a while...

That someone, as far as I've understood, is not Joe Biden.

Well, the new trade deal with the UK sucks for starters Steve. We are still paying 10% tariffs, on top of duty and US car makers who are abiding by Trump's "free trade" deal with Canada and Mexico are paying a 25% import tariff.

The cost of running the government is going up, not down due to the OJ screwing up the bond market.

Fundamentally we are dealing with a group of folks who are psychologically troubled. You have two options… treat the psychological trouble or make physical changes to make them more congruent with their desires… or I suppose you could ignore them altogether and suffer the damage when their behavior goes really haywire (like sporadic mass shootings).

I did some Googling on Colorado'a new bills regarding gender affirming care--there are two, HB25-1309 and HB-1312. Neither says what you claim it says.

I do think there are First Amendment issues arising from Colorado HB25-1312, which requires calling a trans person by their chosen name and pronoun in school and by parents in custody settings.
