Yes, I have. Masks were never intended to filter out individual particles of virus, but to prevent the broadcast of viral-laden droplets from speech, coughing or sneezing.

They weren't to protect the wearer from getting COVID, they were to prevent the wearer from spreading it.

i believe you are correct - that was the intention - though 90% of the exhaust from a human wouldn't be impact, the idea was to stop the spread, at least to a degree -

I'll wear one, where required, my doctor still requires them in their office - it's no account to me, either way - i've had it twice, btw -- first time was a long flu, second time i entirely lost my sense of smell and taste (some might say i never had tastes, but that would be unkind) for months -- it was weird -- literally ZERO taste or smell, not like a cold where it strongly limits it, everything was either hot/cold paste/fluid - couldn't taste coffee -- could feel jalapenos, which gave a little comfort
