I don’t have to.

You have to show he does not meet those definitions since you have proffered he does not.

It is your argument to make. It is not mine. You have the burden of possession.

You are not very good at this.

You assert he is not an oligarch but a leader juxtaposed against the U.S. system.

You have the definitions. Now apply his action in India to those definitions and prove it.

Or do not. Or you do not, you need to be quiet.

Some folks in this thread have a very peculiar idea about what an "oligarch" is to start with and would benefit greatly by consulting a couple of dictionaries.

Being financially successful, even very successful, doesn't make one an oligarch.

I guess I'm wondering why anyone other than Naki actually gives a shit? So a rich nice Indian guy died. Ok.

I think yesterday a nice rich Norwegian guy died and hopefully not, but probably so, a nice Japanese guy will die tomorrow.

Pages later and with more and more of Nakis shrieking and freaking, I still don't give a fuck and can't figure why anyone else would.

I get under your skin and you sure don't like it. You can't do anything about it, can you?

I will wear that. The problem becomes, he wants to tell us what an Oligarchy and oligarch is so addressing the political and economic situation of India.

Yes, on the face of it I reject your assumptive conclusion. Those with less have done more. At least, here in the West. A very important caveat. The East is not the West, our cultures are very different. You assume that those in the lower caste system want caste eliminated, that is not a good assumption to make.

Again, of some one wants to tell me he could not attempt to weld political power through his great wealth or maintain his wealth through politics, they are going to have to do more then say so to prove it. You could also attempt to prove your position, maybe show how a wealthy non-Hindu was able to make huge social changes in India? Never happened that is why your position cannot be verified.

Your position undermines his ability to be a leader which heads this thread. There are different types of leaders in this world, military, political, social and economic. One does not need to excel in all of those to be a leader.

Your position undermines his ability to be a leader which heads this thread. My position takes into account the limits of a non-Hindu in Indian society, yours fails to address this aspect.

All Noki had to do was not advance US as an oligarchical system controlled by corrupt oligarchs while using India as the juxtaposition w Tata. I would have not said a word.

I would disagree. Just look at the Trump supports rationalizing his embarrassing behavior, from his denigrating soldiers who died in battle to his attempted theft of an election, yet they still hero worship him.

Far nuttier than Naki praising a successful business man in my mind.

While I may not have MET IN PERSON our fellow ARPF posters, I still feel as though I have MET them.

Lane, Slider, Hasher, Jtex,4WD, Bluefish(what happened to him?) ETC. All willing to look past Trump's behavior, hero worship at its finest, or maybe a cult of personality, either way.

I am far more successful than Donald Trump. I've never been bankrupt, I've paid all my bills and never defaulted or shafted any vendors. I've paid ALL my taxes to every relevant government. I've never cheated on my wife or been divorced.

I've also mentored many people in the last 44 years and some have become CEOs of large companies. Many have developed into leaders in their own right.

You on the other hand have failed as a human being. No integrity, no honour, no basic human decency. You defend the criminal oligarchy in the US and try to discredit other decent high achievers in other parts of the world.

yeah, you bought a business, drove it into the ground, and had to take a job, in your own words, to "pay your salary" -- where are your billions, whacky little naki? Where are your HUNDREDS of businesses? Who is beating on your door to use your NIL licenses on your name for their businesses?

Your the one who goes by "feel". Dont put that on everyone else. You have been doing much better about "knowing" what someones post meant, instead of just asking. Dont go backwards now Steve. Your interpretations are not mine, dont try to make it so.

More pretzel logic, read your post. You clearly state that I CAN FEEL all I want.

Once again, your graciousness is appreciated.

And I still FEEL like I know several people I have yet to meet in person, and not just on ARPF.

Do you FEEL you met someone after a phone call? That is what you get with a post, a written phone call. You asked if I had met any trumptards.
My honest answer was not like niki.
Then you want to use your version of "met", which is feelings, your words.
Read your own posts, then go feel yourself all you like.

Funny, I have sent guns worth thousands to people who I have "met" online, always worked out great. Some of my best clients I have done tens of thousands of dollars worth of business and only MET them online.

Feel yourself....till morning for all I care.

Jeffe has time for insults but none for rational debate, especially when he is easily proven wrong.

Did you ever switch to sugar free Kool-Aid? Your anger, other than the constant attacks on Nakki, seems better lately. At least, that is how I FEEL Big Grin

You cant get it straight can you steve.
You are the feeler. I am not. You can not find a time when I talk about "feelings" for anything.
I have never been wired to have them, not from birth.

Ratan tata was a great LEADER.

Please read the original post and links.

Easy to google him.

The Tata company owned Jaguar, Land Rover. They bought it off Ford and turned it around. Ford said that Tatas were doing them a favour.

If you drink Telley's Tea in the US, you are drinking a Tata product and probably also grown in one of the Tata Tea estates.

They have their presence in around 80 countries.

They give a vast majority of their profits to charity and social causes.

The GOP Oligarchs can learn a lot from the Tatas.

It's called Limited Emotional Capacity, Steve.
We went through this when I said I listen to NPR because I dont listen to music. You were aghast about that.
I dont know why you think everyone should be just like you.

Your memory is at fault, it was Lheym that was aghast at your lack of interest in music, I told you that you should keep on enjoying the sound of those peepers.

I don't think everyone should be just like me.

You do realize that the "feelings" have more than one meaning in the English language, I'm sure. My first post that mentioned how I "feel" had nothing to do with emotion, it was a way to state that it was my opinion I posted. You took the meaning completely wrong and ran with it, and I encouraged it.

Feel or don't feel Tony, it doesn't matter that much to me, but I do wish you the best.

I tend to take things fairly literal.
I can get an adrenalin rush, but I dont call that feeling either. You would find many tier 1 operators are somewhere on the spectrum. You have to be determined, dedicated and highly focused, but combat releases the endorphins few other things can do.

Aghast is a little strong, but yes. The music was me.

Also, you can have feelings or not. It does not make any difference.

Now, in law school we are thought to eliminate phrases such as “I think,” “I feel,” or “ I believe.” We know counselor the position is what you “feel,” “believe,” or “think.” You are getting paid to do so.
