Why should vets be exempted from the work requirement? If they are able bodied, I don't think 20 hrs. a week is asking too much.

I don’t recall food stamps as being a benefit promised to able bodied veterans. Guess I missed that… Confused

Jeff, there is differences between Vet status and VFW
You can simply serve four year in armed forces and get vet benefits ( medical at least)
Welfare Bennies is another thing

Never been lost, just confused here and there for month or two

I don’t know anything about e2 but I raised kids on one measly income, roughed it up and lived to tell the tale
Back then, grocery store coupons, extra work after work and on weekends if I could find cheap sitters
Of course nothing against military guys and girls, all I’m saying is at times life can be tough and no help so you help yourself and in the end, that makes you better and tougher for incoming years

If you’re an E2 with a wife and 2 kids, you definitely need mental healthcare. And I repeat, when did food stamps become a post service benefit for able bodied ex-service members?? coffee
