How badly will this effect the US? While Im not sure of the implications, one example from here leads me too think It could be disastrous. in the last 3 months our farm gate beef prices the farmer receives, have increased 30%. great for us, but this is usually dictated by US beef prices, and right now its not. It's the rest of thew world vying for a slice of alternate markets. Short term its great for us! Long term I think its part of the problem in that we were removing ourselves from a reliance in trade with China, now china is on the ascendance in this situation. | |||
