The Minnesota press was very positive for this with reporting of “10’s of thousands” present. While certainly a large crowd for a nonelection year event, it was not multiple 10’s of thousands by what they showed. The big one at the football stadium was maybe 10K but a shade of the crowds the Floyd stuff drew. It was a remarkably well behaved protest. All in all, to me a nonissue. Typical partisan political rally, albeit well attended by MN standards. | |||

So why don't ordinary cops wear masks? FBI agents? Secret Service? (who ain't so secret comparatively). All of them face the possibility of criminal retribution. It rarely happens--so when was the last time an ICE agent had his "bounty" collected by a cartel member? The image of masked agents seizing people off the streets scares most of us enough to allow a certain amount of risk to LEOs. Especially given the man who is in charge of sending the masked agents. | |||

I personally am quite happy with the work they are doing. I am happy they protect themselves and their families. I want them safe. You lawyers always state your faith in the system. Well, these agents are federal law enforcement officers. They operate by the same rules and laws as all LEOs. Why do you have disdain for them and not for a US Marshall, FBI agent? Are you telling me that you have lost faith in or federal law enforcement system? This should be more alarming than any Monarchy concerns. From ME’s article above: “They’re not always going to be in office. ... The people who serve for the president, including all the way down to ICE agents, can be held accountable when there’s a change of administration.” Pritzker also noted that even if accountability might not be imminent, he thinks it’s important for figures like Miller to know “that whatever they do now, it’s not like we’re going to forget and it’s not like we don’t have a record of what they’re doing.” | |||

This administration knows they’re setting precedents, and it’s unimaginable that they don’t understand the risk to themselves if they ever lose power. Their only conceivable plan is to remain in power, by force if necessary. If he’d done that, at that time, he’d have precipitated an instant civil war, and he hadn’t yet consolidated sufficient power to pull it off. He’s now in the process of consolidating that power; rallying the ‘Brown Shirts’ in the form of filling ICE with Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and every goon squad he can muster for $50k a head. In addition, he’s begun a purge of the military, encouraging leadership that doesn’t grovel before him to leave while replacing them with sycophants. The markers are pretty close to being in place, certainly before his term is technically up the noose will have closed around the nations neck. Manaforth was a criminal foreign agent and rightly went to prison. All info is recorded. 2. Many people were indicted and sent to prison, including Flynn. Sessions lied and was forced to set up the Special Counsel investigation. It was Trump Admin investigation. It was led by Republicans. 3. Giuliani was spinning the whole issue by claiming that collusion was not a crime. He admitted that collusion did happen.
