The Minnesota press was very positive for this with reporting of “10’s of thousands” present.

While certainly a large crowd for a nonelection year event, it was not multiple 10’s of thousands by what they showed. The big one at the football stadium was maybe 10K but a shade of the crowds the Floyd stuff drew.

It was a remarkably well behaved protest.

All in all, to me a nonissue. Typical partisan political rally, albeit well attended by MN standards.

So why don't ordinary cops wear masks? FBI agents? Secret Service? (who ain't so secret comparatively).

All of them face the possibility of criminal retribution. It rarely happens--so when was the last time an ICE agent had his "bounty" collected by a cartel member?

The image of masked agents seizing people off the streets scares most of us enough to allow a certain amount of risk to LEOs.

Especially given the man who is in charge of sending the masked agents.

I don’t believe the statistics support the assertion of “most.”

Especially given the man who is in charge of sending the masked agents.

I personally am quite happy with the work they are doing. I am happy they protect themselves and their families. I want them safe.

You lawyers always state your faith in the system. Well, these agents are federal law enforcement officers. They operate by the same rules and laws as all LEOs. Why do you have disdain for them and not for a US Marshall, FBI agent? Are you telling me that you have lost faith in or federal law enforcement system?

Now tell me exactly what actual difference it makes as to whether you can see an ICE officer’s face or not if they are uniformed and badged?
