I have probably already recounted about my grandfather, when we were returning from Alaska, which had just gotten statehood, commented on all the Texas cars we saw. He said, "they must be going up to see if it really is bigger".
I can't help but feel just a little concerned about how things are being done. It would be better if we had a competent person at the helm, but I wonder if such a person is even available in the US. Bill

There was always talk of cutting Alaska in half and making Texas the 3rd largest state.
