No doubt that is true in Kentucky, do you think most of the changes to voting regulations were made by state legislatures?

Votes were harvested in 2020 in a legal fashion by NGOs. Ballot verification in 2020 was a joke. In most cases they just didn’t and the courts were ok with that. There were even instances of more votes than registered voters.

One way to help resolve division in this country is insuring all ballots cast are by a citizen and under a citizen’s own will.

You are right as far as Texas and few other southern states are concerned. the Blacks and Hispanics have been disenfranchised for over 250 years Wink

The elections have NEVER been fair and equitable in those states.

Every election was an "anomaly" in one statistic or another.

Without having the guts to say so, Ledvm, you're trying to smear the 2020 election to cast doubt on its legitimacy.

You're smart enough to know better, so you must be doing what others accuse you of: LYING.

There were anomalies in the Harris County election.

Was the election stolen? I don't think so... did dumb stuff happen? Without a doubt.

Dumb stuff so bad that Texas passed laws to prevent it from happening again..

Did it move the needle? Not in Texas.. no clue, and less care if it happened in other states

That clear enough for you, roland?

Well, the Rs did it first to get Fed Court judges like Cannon appointed.

It is not a crime against the Constitution to end the filibuster. It is a Senate rule made by the Senate. The Constitution does not mandate nor mention the filibuster.

I am of two minds on it, and I do not know how I would vote on the issue if I were in the Senate.

There is a difference w a distinction to object to legislation. That is debate and voting in legislation. The Filibuster amounts to a minority veto not found in the Constitution.

And on another note, GA had a Republican governor and a Republican Sec of State, who certified the election result. And no, the Sec of State refused to honor Trump’s demand to find 11,700+ votes to swing the election. Election deniers seem to consistently ignore this inconvenient fact. 2020

The cases were not just dismissed for lack of evidence.

The pleadings were so bad, the lawyers were sanctioned, disbarred, charged, and convicted due to their participation in the Big Lie in bringing these actions.

AZ also had an GOP governor.

What is the excuse for GA continuing to elect Dem Senator? I’ll tell you what the truth is GA voters rejected the Trump endorsed, MAGA primary sanctioned candidate.

The party must return to the Center.

I sort of doubt you think that will happen, I certainly don't.

The GOP just needs to flat go away. Be resoundingly defeated repeatedly, dissolve, blow up, ricochet out of orbit, who cares. There is no saving the fans of Trump, Santos, and the rest of the nuts in office.

Yes MTG does have a soft spot in my heart, after all, she did expose the Jewish Space Lasers. Id prefer to keep her around to reminisce about The Good Old Days if nothing else.

There is no course correction for the GOP. The only hope for a real and a reliable conservative movement is to not include any old guard.

They really had no choice but to certify. The law was followed in GA. But it was just sloppy. More ballots than registered voters in places. Signatures that didn’t match. No clear rules for verification. Combine that with a razor thin margin.

Not talking about Powell and her BS but suits to stop and look at the ballots and the process. Almost impossible to get that filed properly in the timeline allowed. And in GA, it never was allowed to be thoroughly investigated.

So a Republican governor, Sec of State, and most importantly a heavily Republican state legislature didn’t allow an investigation of the ballot counting process?? Really? And an 11,700 vote difference is razor thin? Trump and his legal cronies simply made shit up with no basis in facts and 60+ dismissed lawsuits resoundingly showed that. Deny, deny, deny all you want but orange Jesus lost, period!

Nothing? Signatures that could not be verified — counted. More votes in precincts than on rolls — counted. No methodology in place for signature verification — no worries count them anyway. No lies here…that’s how the courts saw it.
